Prime Video’s sports portfolio is expanding with the launch of Willow Sports, the Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST) channel from Willow, and its add-on subscription, Willow.tv. The pair will give fans access to both premium subscription content and free live cricket.
Just in time for the launch, viewers can watch the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Matches, Including Team USA vs. Pakistan for free on Prime Video. Fans can tune in for a majority of the matches via Willow Sports from January 17 to February 2. The showdown between Team USA and Pakistan will stream live on January 17 at 10:30 PM PT/1:30 AM ET. These matches will stream for free in the “Live TV” section on Prime Video, and other services, including DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, Plex, and Sling Freestream.
“Cricket is winning over fans across North America, and Willow is fueling this growing passion by offering unmatched access to the sport,” said Todd Myers, COO of Willow. “With our launch of two major offerings—the Willow Sports FAST channel and Willow’s add-on subscription on Prime Video—fans can enjoy even more ways to watch live matches and highlights.
