Prime Video has announced the team that will lead NBA coverage for the streaming service’s inaugural season, beginning in October 2025. The newly announced members of the team include former NBA players Udonis Haslem, Steve Nash, and Dwyane Wade, and former WNBA player Candace Parker. They join the previously announced studio team of host Taylor Rooks, and analysts Blake Griffin and Dirk Nowitzki.

The coverage is part of an 11-year deal between Prime Video and the NBA, announced in July 2024.

“I’m proud to join the NBA on Prime team and bring everything I’ve learned over 20 years in the league to the studio,” said Haslem, who will serve as a studio analyst for pre-game, halftime, and post-game coverage. “Basketball has given me so much, and now I’m excited to give back by sharing my insights, passion, and love for the game with fans everywhere. This next chapter is about staying true to who I am — bringing energy, authenticity, and that same winning mindset to every show.”

Nash, Wade, and Parker will serve as in-game and studio analysts for NBA on Prime.

“We’re incredibly proud to welcome Candace, Dwyane, Steve, and Udonis to the Prime Video family,” said Jared Stacy, Global Head of Production at Prime Video. “With elite basketball resumes that speak for themselves, these individuals have a love for the game that is infectious, and a passion for teaching and growing the game. We are excited to see their authentic personalities, and expert analysis on display this fall as we launch the NBA on Prime.”

Starting with the 2025/26 NBA season, Prime Video will have exclusive coverage of 66 regular season games, including a new Black Friday game. Prime Video will also stream every game of the SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament, first and second-round playoff games, and Conference Finals in six of the 11 years of the deal.

Along with exclusive coverage of some games, the deal also makes Prime Video the strategic partner for NBA League Pass, the NBA’s subscription service for streaming live and on-demand games, in the U.S. and internationally.
