Pluto TV Is Getting Even Better With An All-New & Improved Home Area

Today, Pluto TV announced that it is rolling out its new home screen that is meant to make Pluto TV even easier to use. First announced back at the Stream TV show back in June, the new home area is finally coming to Pluto TV owners.

This new app will include new navigation, giving users even more options to find content on Pluto TV from both on-demand and live channels. This new home area will give personalization recommendations based on your viewing habits. Also, it will bring more on-demand content to the front, helping you discover everything Pluto TV has to offer.

To find this new area, you can option via the global navigation panel.

Pluto TV, is now has over 300 free live channels in the United States and tens of thousands of on-demand content. This new app should make it easier to find what you wont form all of this content.

“As the FAST landscape continues to evolve, so does our user experience around content discovery and personalization to seamlessly connect users to relevant programming,” said Tad Ro, Senior Vice President of Product Management, Pluto TV. “The Home experience offers a unique display of rich sets of both Live and VOD content, even intermixing in the same carousels, and gives users more opportunity to find the content they are actively looking for, love to watch and soon-to-be new favorites within a single section.”

Pluto TV will be slowly rolling this new app out starting on September 25th on select Roku devices and continue to Android TV and Fire TV devices throughout the year. There is no word on exactly when all Pluto TV apps will be updated, but look for this to be a slow rollout over the next few months.
