Pluto TV is Adding CNN

It looks like Pluto TV is about to add a new channel with the addition of CNN. Today Pluto TV launched a page for CNN channel 111 on its website. Sadly when you try to play it nothing happens.

Update: CNN’s page on Pluto TV is now gone.

Channel 111 used to be the old CNBC channel but that ended a few months ago. Now it looks like Pluto TV will be replacing CNBC with CNN sometime soon.

Pluto TV’s website describes the new CNN channel as: “Stay up to date with live breaking news and information from the world’s most trusted source for news plus award-winning original films and series. CNN covers the latest headlines from around the globe with facts-first reporting and analysis for politics, financial markets and world news.”

Now don’t expect this to be a 24/7 live feed of CNN. Much like the NBC News channel it will likely be a collection of videos recently aired on CNN plus live breaking news. Often this live breaking when major events happen.

Cord Cutters News has reached out to Pluto TV to learn more and will post an update when CNN is live on Pluto TV.
