Pluto TV is one of the oldest and largest 100% free ad-supported streaming services on the market. Pluto TV has also long been known as one of the leaders in developing new user features, and they are continuing to look at new ways to improve the app.

Now for fans of the first three Rambo movies you can now stream them for free on Pluto TV. This includes First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, and Rambo III.

This all comes as Pluto TV is rolling out a new user interface. Last year Pluto TV started to roll out an app update that added a new home screen area that mixed both live and on-demand content. And Pluto TV has slowly been making big improvements to its app over the years.

Now, after testing a few different ways to make channel surfing easier today, Pluto TV rolled out the new user interface. Now if you hit the OK button on your Roku remote when watching a channel yu will notice a channel guide button. Hovering over that will now bring up a new menu that let you find other channels as you watch your current channel.

Here is what it looks like:

Here is how Pluto TV describe this new UI:

  • This new experience on the Pluto TV UI allows viewers to browse channels while continuing to watch the content they love in full-screen
  • Mini-Channel Guide showcases what’s currently playing on other channels in addition to what’s playing on the channel users are watching now, including prominent episode details
  • Mini-Channel Guide is rolling out now on Roku first in the U.S.

This new mini guide covers about one-fourth of the screen, letting you continue to watch what is currently on your TV screen. It allows you to quickly scroll through channels to see what is airing as you watch your current channel. This new guide was being tested right now with a handful of Pluto TV customers on Roku players and likely other streaming players. Now, though, it is rolling out to all Roku owners.

This feature will make channel surfing with Pluto TV far easier than it has ever been in the past.
