A few months ago Pluto TV, the popular free streaming service, added on demand. At first the ability to access the video on demand content and its nice selection of movies was only available on a few of their apps.
But recently Pluto TV updated its Apple TV app fixing several bugs and adding the video on-demand content to Pluto TV on the Apple TV.
The lineup of free movies available on demand at the time of its launch in May included Paramount Pictures’ “Vanilla Sky” and MGM’s “Silence of the Lambs,” “The Usual Suspects,” and “Species” as well as complete TV shows such as Lionsgate’s “ALF” and Warner Bros.’s “The Ben Stiller Show” and “Super Fun Night.”
Other video on-demand movies include “Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow,” “The Birdcage,” “Charlotte’s Web,” “Thelma & Louise,” “Mad Max,” “The Hours,” “Defiance,” “The Kite Runner,” “Dances With Wolves,” “Paulie,” “Cirque Du Soleil: Worlds Away,” and “Lars and the Real Girl.” TV shows on the VOD platform include “Fear Factor,” “American Hoggers,” “I Love New York,” “The Dead Zone,” and “Paranormal State.”
So if you have yet to test out Pluto TV today may be a great day to give them a look.
