Just in time for the public release of the iOS 12 beta last week, Sony has updated PlayStation Vue. Previously PlayStation Vue on iOS 12 betas would crash. Now, with the update, beta testers can enjoy PlayStation Vue. This comes after PlayStation Vue did not support early iOS 12 betas.
This is not unusual with a beta. Often a handful of apps just will not work with a new beta app. Now, though, it looks like Sony has addressed all issues with the iOS 12 beta and PlayStation Vue.
iOS 12 Release Dates
- Right now for iOS 12 developer beta (for paid Apple developers only)
- On June 26 Apple will start a public beta (based on iOS 11 public beta)
- The final release will likely happen in September 2018
As with all betas, if you want to give them a try just be ready for many features not to work. This is part of the beta process because it is meant to find bugs and unsupported apps. Hopefully, Sony will roll out a PlayStation Vue update to add support for iOS 12.
