Earlier today we broke the story that Sony was working on a new PlayStation Vue app for Roku devices. Now Sony just released the app for all subscribers. To get the new PlayStation Vue app on your Roku you just need to update your Roku.

Follow the instructions below to manually check for software and channel updates.
- Press the Home button
on your Roku remote. - Scroll up or down and select Settings.
- Select System.
- Select System update.
- Note: The System update screen displays the current software and build version, along with the date and time of the latest update.
- Select Check Now to manually check for updates.
After you follow these steps you will see Roku update. (You may also find that Roku OS 8.0 is being added to your device first. If that happens after the update go back to settings and recheck for software updates after the 8.0 Roku OS update.)
UPDATE: You need to have the Roku OS 8.0 installed to use the new PlayStation Vue Roku Channel. If your Roku has not updated yet they say it will be the end of the year.
