Today PlayStation Vue announced that they have replaced that national Fox feeds in two markets and replaced NBC On-Demand in 2 other markets. This is great news for PlayStation Vue subscribers who live in these markets.
Here Are The Fox Affiliates PlayStation Vue Added This Week:
- Harrisonburg, VA (WSVF The Valley’s FOX)*
- Presque Isle, ME (WAGM FOX 8)*
Here are the NBC Affiliates PlayStation Vue Added This Week:
- Shreveport, LA (KTAL NBC 6)
- Wichita Hutchinson, KS (KSN-TV)
*Sadly the new Fox Affiliates do not support DVR. This means that now you have your local with local sports and news, you can not DVR programs. In a statement on PlayStation Vue’s website for DVR it says “DVR will no longer be available” for these new FOX affiliates. The new NBC locals do support DVR.
This news comes after PlayStation Vue quietly added a 24/7 ABC News channel to their lineup earlier this week. Now PlayStation Vue subscribers can get ABC News when they want it no matter what time of the day it is.
From the looks of it, this is the free ABC News feed you have been able to watch through The Roku Channel and through ABC’s dedicated news app on devices like the Fire TV. Now you can get it through your PlayStation Vue app.
