What’s Changed?
Both streaming services have been making changes with their channel lineups to better fit their viewers’ preferences. Read about AT&T adding 6 new channels here, and Philo adding 3 networks to their package here.
Philo has also been making some updates to create a more user friendly experience. They announced in October that users can now create personal profiles, making it easier to find the content you love without sifting through your spouse or kids’ favorite TV shows to get there.
Just before adding the profiles, Philo updated their Roku app. Now, you can scroll through an organized grid guide to find your favorite channels. You can read more about that update here.
AT&T Watch has been making some changes of their own while working to become a major player in the world of streaming services. In September, AT&T exec Randall Stephenson announced that the AT&T Watch would be rolling out additional packages, all within the $15-25 range sometime this year.
