A few weeks ago, AT&T launched their new AT&T Watch TV service. The service is a stripped-down version of DIRECTV NOW that is free for select AT&T wireless plan subscribers and $15 for others. When the service first launched, AT&T said additional networks would be coming soon.
Now AT&T Watch TV has quietly added the following networks:
- BET
- Comedy Central
- MTV 2
- Nick Toons
- TeenNick
- VH1
We are not sure exactly when AT&T Watch TV added the new channels because AT&T made no announcement about it.
AT&T seems to want to use their new AT&T Watch TV service to push subscribers to their high-end and highly profitable wireless plans. With T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon among others aggressively pushing for subscribers, AT&T is hoping their new streaming services will help them stand out.
