For the upcoming season, Peacock is getting a deep bench of NFL action. The NBC streamer has rolled out a lineup of 26 games to keep football fans glued to the screen from kickoff to the final whistle. Coverage begins with the 2026 Hall of Fame Game between the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals on Thursday, August 6.
Peacock is the streaming home to all of NBC’s NFL games, including the playoffs, along with Football Night in America and the expanded Sunday Night Football Final postgame show. During Week 17, it will also stream an exclusive national primetime game on Saturday, January 2, 2027. Additionally, Telemundo Deportes will provide Spanish-language coverage of the full SNF package, plus three playoff games, across Telemundo/Universo and Peacock.
What to Know About the NFL on Peacock in 2026
NBC Sports coverage is highlighted by a matchup between two AFC heavyweights that fans will want to circle on their calendar. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs visit Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills on Thanksgiving night in what NBC Sports has dubbed the “rivalry of the decade.” To add to the turkey-day sizzle, this will be the first-ever Thanksgiving game in Buffalo.
Beyond Thanksgiving night, Peacock and NBC have a busy late-season stretch that includes a first-ever international Sunday Night Football game in Mexico City, plus storylines that should have fans buzzing all season long.
The regular-season schedule opens with the New England Patriots visiting the Seattle Seahawks in an NFL Kickoff game on Wednesday, September 9. The Super Bowl LX rematch is NBC’s 21st straight season opener. Other marquee matchups include Cowboys-Packers, Chiefs-Seahawks, Bills-Packers, and Eagles-49ers, giving Peacock subscribers a steady stream of can’t-miss action.
Familiar faces returning to the broadcast team include Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth, Melissa Stark, and rules analyst Terry McAulay, who are back for their fifth season together, which means Peacock viewers will get the familiar SNF crew calling the action all year long. New faces include Super Bowl-winning head coach Mike Tomlin, who is joining Football Night in America. The Maria Taylor-hosted Sunday Night Football pre-game show will have a fresh look as the network is taking it on the road each week.
