Peacock is increasing prices on both its Premium and Premium Plus plans on July 23, citing the success of current content and the upcoming lineup of live sports, award winning films, and new series.
The price for Peacock Premium will increase by $3 to $10.99 per month and Premium Plus by $3 to $16.99 per month. Peacock’s annual price will be $109.99 per year for Premium and $169.99 per year for Premium Plus.
Along with the price hike on existing plans, Peacock will be testing a new tier, called Select, which will be priced at $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year. The new tier will include current seasons of NBC and Bravo shows and a library of on-demand content.
The increase comes as the streamer just wrapped up another successful season of Love Island USA and has seen a strong start to Love Island: Beyond the Villa.
To show the value of the streaming service, even with the new price hike, Peacock shares that upcoming content includes the Super Bowl, Sunday Night Football, the NBA, the Olympics, WNBA, Premier League, Big Ten, the FIFA World Cup in Spanish, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Subscribers will also have access to blockbuster movies including “Jurassic World Rebirth,” “How to Train Your Dragon” and “Wicked: For Good,” as well as the return of “The Traitors” and new scripted originals like “The Paper.”
