NBCUniversal and YouTube announced today a new deal that will make Peacock available as a YouTube Premium add on next year. This is the largest distribution deal for Peacock to date, with a goal of expanding the streaming service’s audience and deepen fan engagement.
With the new deal, Peacock Premium will be included in a bundle with YouTube Premium beginning early next year. This will give YouTube Premium subscribers to Peacock’s on demand library of NBC and Bravo programming, as well as access to the service’s live sports including the NFL, Olympics, NBA, MLB, Big Ten and Notre Dame Football, Big 12, Big East and Big Ten College Basketball, Premier League, WNBA, Kentucky Derby, golf and more.

The deal also extends NBCUniversal’s multi-year distribution agreement with YouTube TV, ensuring continued distribution of NBCUniversal channels on the platform.
NBC Sports will benefit from the deal as well. NBC Sports will be the production partner for select premier live sporting events on YouTube, and a selection of live sporting events from NBCUniversal will stream on the official NBC Sports YouTube channel.

Peacock Premium is currently available for $10.99 per month. In addition to the bundle deal coming next year, Peacock Premium will be available as a separate add on subscription through YouTube Primetime Channels starting later this summer. Peacock Premium Plus joined the lineup of YouTube Primetime Channels last month.
