Peacock Makes It Easier to Watch STARZ Without Leaving the App With New Premium Add-On

Peacock is continuing its push to become more than just another streaming service.

Less than a year after teaming up with Apple to launch a discounted Apple TV and Peacock bundle, NBCUniversal is expanding its platform again by letting subscribers add STARZ directly to their Peacock subscription. The move gives viewers another way to consolidate their streaming services, allowing them to access STARZ originals, hit movies, and future premieres without leaving the Peacock app.

Eligible Peacock subscribers can now add STARZ for $11.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial available for customers billed directly through Peacock. The add-on is available across Peacock Select, Premium, and Premium Plus plans.

What the STARZ add-on includes

Once subscribed, STARZ content appears alongside Peacock’s existing library and can be accessed through dedicated STARZ pages within the app. Subscribers don’t need to download a separate STARZ app or manage another login.

Peacock says the STARZ library includes exclusive access to:

The service also adds acclaimed dramas including The White Queen, The White Princess, The Spanish Princess, The Serpent Queen, Mary & George, Three Women, SweetPea, and The Listeners, along with movies such as The Housemaid, Shelter, and The Strangers: Chapter 3.

How much does STARZ cost on Peacock?

The STARZ add-on costs $11.99 per month after the 7-day free trial.

Current Peacock pricing is:

The free trial is available only to eligible subscribers who are billed directly through Peacock. Existing standalone STARZ subscriptions cannot be linked to Peacock accounts.

If you want to watch your favorites on STARZ without a Peacock subscription, the ad-free service is available as a standalone. For a limited time, new subscribers can prepay for one year of STARZ for $35.99, or pay $4.99 monthly for three months.

Another step in Peacock’s bundling strategy

The addition of STARZ follows Peacock’s growing effort to make its service a one-stop destination for streaming entertainment.

Last year, Peacock partnered with Apple to launch a discounted bundle combining Apple TV and Peacock, giving subscribers access to both services while saving more than 30% compared to paying for each separately. The partnership also introduced cross-promotion between the two platforms, allowing users to sample select original series from each service. Adding STARZ builds on that strategy by expanding Peacock’s library through premium partnerships instead of asking viewers to juggle another standalone app.

For cord cutters trying to simplify their streaming lineup, it’s another sign that major services are increasingly looking to become aggregation hubs rather than standalone destinations.
