Today Peacock announced that for the secondtime since it launched almost four years ago, it will be raising its price. Pricing will be going up $2 a month, depending on what package you subscribe to.
If you subscribe to the ad-supported plan, your price will go up $2 to $7.99 a month. If you subscribe to the ad-free Peacock Premium Plus, you will see your price go up $2 a month to $13.99. The annual plans will be $79.99 a year for Premium and $139.99 a year for Premium Plus.
The price hike will go into effect for new subscribers on July 18, 2024, and current subscribers will see the price go up on their first bill after August 17th, 2023. (So you still have time to lock in a year of the current price.)
Recently, Peaccok has been adding a lot of new content, including live sports. Last fall, Big Ten football came to Peacock with exclusive games only on Peacock. Peacock will also be the home to the Summer Olympics in Paris.

- With nearly 100,000 programming hours, Peacock’s premium content includes blockbuster movies right after they’re in theaters, new NBC and Bravo episodes, breakout Peacock Originals, and more than 8,000 hours of live sports, plus 5,000 additional hours of Olympic coverage this summer.
- Peacock’s recent roster of breakout original content includes critically acclaimed series like Apples Never Fall, Poker Face, Bel-Air, The Traitors, Based On A True Story, The Best Man: The Final Chapters, Ted, Twisted Metal and more. Additional anticipated content this year includes Those About to Die, Fight Night, Hysteria, Day of the Jackal, the return of fan favorites like Bel-Air and Love Island USA as well as titles from Universal Filmed Entertainment including The Fall Guy, Illumination’s Despicable Me 4 and Twisters following their theatrical runs.
- This summer for the Paris Games, Peacock will be the most comprehensive Olympics streaming destination in U.S. media history. Features like Peacock Live Actions and Peacock Discovery Multiview, along with programming like our Gold Zone whip-around show and Watch with Alex Cooper interactive watch parties, will ensure both avid and casual fans can enjoy every moment and every medalbygiving them new ways to find, plan and watch the events they care about.
- In the 2024 NFL season, Peacock will exclusively stream the Friday night opening game on September 6 between the Eagles and Packers live from São Paulo, Brazil. Additional exclusive content includes Premier League, WWE, Big Ten football and basketball, featured rounds and holes of the best in golf, rugby, cycling, motorsports events and more.
