Paramount+ Will Launch on March 4

ViacomCBS announced today that Paramount+ will launch in the US on Thursday, March 4, 2021. At the same time, the service will launch in Latin America and Canada. The Nordics will get the service on March 25 and Paramount+ will launch in Australia in mid-2021.

The company announced in September plans to rebrand CBS All Access to Paramount+. The streaming service will include content from the company’s portfolio, including broadcast, news, sports, and its popular entertainment brands, like MTV, BET, Comedy Central, CBS, Paramount Television Studios, Nickelodeon, and Smithsonian Channel. The service will also include movies from Paramount Pictures.

“The Paramount brand is known and loved all around the world, and is synonymous with great entertainment. It’s always brought people together, which makes it a perfect fit for a streaming service that’s uniquely positioned to do the same,” Josh Line, chief brand officer, ViacomCBS, said in the original announcement. “The Paramount+ streaming service will elevate ViacomCBS’ iconic family of brands.”

ViacomCBS will share more information about the rebranding during its Q4 earnings call on February 24.
