Star Trek fans who have been waiting for the upcoming season of Picard are getting a little hope that the release date is sooner rather than later. Paramount+ just released the new trailer for the second season of the show which will premiere sometime in 2022, exclusively on Paramount+.
Picard stars Patrick Stewart reprising his role as Jean-Luc Picard, who is now a retired admiral. The series also features Alison Pill, Isa Briones, Evan Evagora, Michelle Hurd, Santiago Cabrera, Jeri Ryan, Orla Brady, John de Lancie and Brent Spiner.
Along with the new trailer, Paramount+ released key art for Picard Season 2, but unfortunately, it doesn’t give us a premiere date.
Like many TV shows last year, production on Season 2 came to a halt during the pandemic but resumed at the beginning of 2021. The series is already confirmed for a third season.
