Nickelodeon’s interactive learning platform, Noggin, is adding customizable daily lessons called “Special Delivery,” which teaches kids with the help of their favorite Nick Jr. characters.

Special Delivery offers kids a specially curated curriculum filled with games, videos, and activities every day they log in. Noggin’s team of educational experts, product developers, and designers tailor lessons to teach kids through research-backed mini-classes.

Noggin lets parents personalize their child’s lesson plans to reflect their learning style and skill level.

“Noggin created Special Delivery to provide a personalized learning experience in a secure ‘walled garden’ of content,” said Kristen Kane, executive vice president of Noggin. “It’s designed to engage and delight kids through interaction with their favorite characters. We know when kids have fun, they learn more effectively.”

The daily Special Delivery package includes 15 to 20 minutes of educational content designed to teach kids ages 2 to 7 in math, literacy, critical thinking, and wellness skills, including social and emotional learning. Kids can take math lessons with the PAW Patrol, learn letters with the Bubble Guppies, while Dora is ready to teach Spanish. Through their Noggin membership, parents can add thousands of extra learning videos, games, activities, shorts, and ebooks. New content is added weekly.

Noggin focuses each Special Delivery on five areas of learning:

  • Social & Emotional: Helping kids build confidence, appreciate others, and develop strong relationships
  • Early Math: Helping kids build basic skills and make sense of the world through mathematical thinking
  • Early Reading: Helping kids communicate and build literacy skills to become great readers.
  • Healthy Habits: Helping kids grow strong through movement, nutrition, and mindset
  • Arts & Sciences: Empowering kids to become curious, critical, and compassionate thinkers.

Offering lessons designed for small children based on the characters from their favorite series like PAW Patrol, Peppa Pig, and Blue’s Clues & You! teaches them valuable skills to prepare for school while holding their attention.

“Research shows that children learn best when educational content and its delivery are developmentally optimal for the child’s age, stage, and learning style,” said Dr. Michael Rich, director of the Digital Wellness Lab and associate professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.

A Noggin membership costs $7.99 a month and includes more than 2,000 ad-free episodes of preschool favorite cartoons accessible on multiple devices.
