This deal will continue to allow Facebook to distribute official NFL video, including game recaps, NFL Films Vault, and official highlights. According to the NFL, the videos and recaps will be from all 256 regular-season games, plus the playoffs and the Super Bowl, and will be made available to Facebook users worldwide.
In addition, the NFL will be pumping out even more original content including video version podcasts, video clips featuring NFL media analysts and on-air personalities, and content celebrating the NFL’s 100th anniversary.
“Facebook continues to be an important partner in accessing millions of highly engaged fans around the world,” Blake Stuchin, the NFL’s VP of digital media business development, said in a statement.
Facebook users will find these videos on Facebook Watch and Facebook mobile apps across Apple iOS and Android, on desktop, laptop, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV (4th generation or newer), Android TV, Samsung Smart TVs (2015 or newer) and Microsoft Xbox One. You will also find team specific videos posted on NFL teams Facebook pages.
The NFL first partnered with the ‘Book in 2017. The NFL main Facebook page has more than 17 million followers.
