NewsNet is a 100% free 24/7 news network in 18 markets and streaming free online around the nation. Last month NewsNet launched for free on RokuApple TV, and Fire TVs. Now NewsNet has announced that they are expanding into a brand new studio.

This new studio will 3 studios, each with their own control rooms, as well as a new, state-of-the-art master control room overseeing the operations of both NewsNet and Freelancer Television Broadcasting’s local stations, WMNN and WXII-LP.

When NewsNet first launched, the team behind the service said, “After its launch in early 2019, NewsNet will be available over-the-air on affiliates across the country. If you live in a community with a NewsNet affiliate, all you’ll need to receive our 24/7 news programming for free is a TV antenna!”

“I think it will really benefit our ability to gather news and present it in an efficient manner,” said NewsNet Anchor/Producer Remington Hernandez, “Space has always been an issue but with more space we’ll be able to efficiently produce more content.”

NewsNet’s new studios are expected to be completed and on-air this fall.
