Displace, the company behind “the first truly wireless television”, has announced the launch of its latest models, the Displace Pro and Displace Basic, at CES 2025. These new 4K TVs combine a sleek, cable-free design with advanced features, including an AI-driven operating system that transforms the traditional television into an all-in-one entertainment and productivity hub.
Powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, these TVs offer a completely wireless experience. Forget internet streaming and Bluetooth capabilities, they completely eliminate the need for power cords and cluttered setups. Designed for versatility, they can be mounted on a wall in just 10 seconds without drilling or can be placed on a table using their new push-to-pop legs. Available in 55-inch and 27-inch models, the TVs are designed to suit any environment, from living rooms to offices and even outdoor spaces.
At the core of the new models is the company’s Displace OS, an innovative operating system powered by an AI Agent that can manage tasks like streaming, sending emails, ridesharing, and even food delivery through voice commands. Users can also connect wireless keyboards and mice to handle more advanced tasks, making the TVs a practical option for work as well as entertainment.
“Our bespoke Pro and Basic models represent a significant leap forward in TV technology,” said Balaji Krishnan, founder and CEO of Displace. “With enhanced internal processing and our innovative OS, Displace is more than just entertainment—it’s a productivity powerhouse.”
The Pro model also includes a dual-purpose soundbar and speaker system that enhances audio quality while extending battery life by up to 150 hours. The soundbar is included with the Pro and available as an accessory for the Basic model. Additionally, the TVs support gesture controls for simple actions like pausing or playing content and feature concealed charging ports and HDMI connections to maintain their streamlined look.
Displace is offering special pre-order pricing during CES 2025, with discounts of $1,000 on all models. The Pro is priced at $4,999 for the 55-inch version and $2,999 for the 27-inch, while the Basic is available for $2,499 and $1,499, respectively. Shipping begins on March 28, 2025.
Attendees at CES can experience the Displace Pro and Basic at Pepcom on January 6 or at Booth #21623 in Central Hall from January 7 to 10. More information is available at displace.tv.
