There’s a new music video app that just launched, and apparently, it’s Nashville’s answer to MTV. Audidio (pronounced Au-did-ee-yo, like if you mixed audio with video), is a new 24/7 streaming platform featuring 16 music video channels, with more coming soon. The channel features up-and-coming music artists as well as well-known hosts and video jockeys.

The network’s channels include Acoustic & Chill, Country Music, Pop, Dance WRLD, Latin, The State of Rap, Hip Hop, R&B, Roots Rock Reggae, Pop Punk EMO, Indie, Metal|Hardcore, Alternative, Rock U and Punk Grunge + other oddities. There is also a channel dedicated to showcasing one new performer each month, called New Artist Spotlight.

“It took more than a year of planning, conceptualization, beta-testing, agreement negotiations, partnerships and much more, but we’re excited to finally announce Audidio – the best place to discover new music videos,” said Nik Sharp, founder of Audidio. “Think MTV and VH1 when they were cool. Speaking of which, I heard MTV just celebrated 40 years last month, I think it’s fitting to thank them for 20 years of music, but we’ll take it from here.”

Audidio is available on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android, iPhone and streaming online at audidio.com.
