This week, Netflix shared a bi-annual report about viewer trends and time spent watching content. The report shows that Netflix subscribers watched over 94 billion hours of content on the streaming service in the second half the year, a 5% increase year over year.
Netflix has a massive content library and noted in the report the importance of both huge breakout titles and smaller, lesser known shows. The streamer says that no one title accounted for 1% or more of total viewing time.
Squid Game was the most-viewed show of the second half of the year at 87 million views, even though it premiered just 6 days before the end of the year. A live event, the Paul vs. Tyson fight, also made the top ten list with 49 million views.

For movies, another December premiere, Carry-On, took the top spot with 137 million views. Animation was also popular with subscribers, with Sing and The Grinch both showing up in the top ten.
