The move continues Netflix’s desire to expand beyond just shows and movies, and be known as a multifaceted entertainment company. It has been quietly expanding its library of games for mobile devices, but wants to bring the same kind of universal access as its traditional programming.

The initial test will include two games, Oxenfree fro Night School Studio, and Molehew’s Mining Adventure, a gem-mining game.

Netflix last week launched a virtual controller app on iOS, allowing you to play games on your TV. At the time, it wasn’t clear how the TV part would work.

On Monday, Netflix said the games would work on Amazon Fire TV streaming media players, Chromecast with Google TV, LG TVs, Nvidia Shield TV, Roku devices and TVs, Samsung Smart TVs, and Walmart ONN. The company said more would come over time.

“While we’re still very early in our games journey, we’re excited to bring joy to members with games,” the company said.
