Netflix users are reporting that the service is down in some areas.

Both DownDetector and Down For Everyone or Just Me detected a spike in complaints about two hours ago. A Reddit thread with nearly 450 responses have also flagged the issue, noting that Netflix keeps checking the internet connection.

It’s the first outage in several months, with the last being one that lasted less than an outage back in October, according to Down For Everyone or Just Me.

But it also doesn’t seem to be widespread. The Netflix mobile app still works for me, and I’m based in Southern California. Complaints are coming from all over the place, from Oregon to Virginia and Switzerland. Netflix’s own site, however, said that service is still up.

A spokesman for Netflix couldn’t immediately be reached to comment on the issue or how widespread the problem is.
