Netflix has made a name for themselves by making excellent high-quality original content such as House of Cards and Orange Is the New Black to name a few. Now it looks like Netflix is making good use of their 2016 $6-billion-dollar investment in new original content.
Right now Netflix has confirmed that 58 new original shows and movies are in the works. That does not include existing shows getting a new season such as House of Cards. No, Netflix is working on 58 new original movies and shows right now. It is even likely that they have even more in the works that we do not know about yet.
Of these 58 new originals 17 are animation, 23 are some type of drama, and 11 are comedies to name a few of the categories Netflix is focusing on.
