Netflix series The Kominky Method has been renewed for a second season and will premiere on Friday, October 26.
Fans heard from series creator Chuck Lorre back in April, at the Contenders Emmys. At that time, Lorre commented, “There’s hope in Season 2.”
“There was a lot of loss and melancholy in the first eight episodes, and it just felt right to take these characters in a different direction,” Lorre told Deadline’s Pete Hammond. ‘There’s a glimmer of hope for Alan’s character.”
In the second season, we can expect to see Sandy Kominsky and Norman Newlander continue their journey in Los Angeles. We’ll also see new characters including Sandy’s daughter’s new boyfriend, played by Paul Reiser. Jane Seymour will also make an appearance as Norman’s old flame, coming back into his life 50 years later.
The Kominsky Method has been nominated for three Emmy awards, including Lead Actor in a Comedy for Michael Douglas and Supporting Actor for Alan Arkin.
