After a successful streaming doubleheader on Netflix last Christmas, the NFL is planning to go even bigger this year with a tripleheader.

Last year, two Christmas Day games streamed on Netflix and, thankfully, the platform had worked out its live streaming issues before game day. Previous live streamed events had technical issues and delays, but most viewers didn’t have any problem streaming the NFL games. The games brought in an average of 30 million viewers from around the world and it was Netflix’s most-watched Christmas Day ever in the U.S.

This year, Netflix will stream two Christmas Day games again, as part of a three year deal between the league and the streamer. Because Christmas falls on a Thursday, Amazon Prime Video will stream the third game of the day, as the service has streaming rights for Thursday Night Football.

The NFL has played at least one Christmas Day game each season since since 2020. In 2022, when Christmas landed on a Sunday, there were three games played to line up with the regular Sunday Night Football schedule. There was another tripleheader in 2023, which included a Monday Night Football game.

If game times line up with last year’s Christmas schedule and regular Thursday night games, we’ll be seeing kickoff times of 1 p.m. ET and 4:30 p.m. ET on Netflix, and 8:20 p.m. ET on Prime Video.
