Do you subscribe to Netflix Premium? You can now get improved audio with Spatial Audio and the ability to download titles on more devices at once.
Spatial audio is a 360-degree sound format that recreates a surround effect through a pair of speakers, including earbuds, to make watching video with headphones even better.
“With people more connected than ever through multiple devices, we’ve learned through research that members would like the option to download Netflix series and films to watch offline on more devices, particularly as they travel and switch between devices,” said Rishu Arora, Director of Product Management at Netflix.
In the past, you could only download content on four devices at once. Now you can download content to six devices at once with the Premium plan. This is great news for large families.
The improved audio quality with Spatial Audio is now available on 700 titles.
