Forget “chill”. It’s time to Netflix and Pwn. Stream shows, then crush your friends in LEGO® Party!, Pictionary, Tetris, and more…all using just your phone as a controller.

Netflix wants to be more than just what you watch this holiday season. It wants to be your game night host, too. Rolling out soon to the Games tab on smart TVs, a new batch of party games will let you skip the console, grab your phone, and dive right into group play. With nothing more than your Netflix account and a screen, you’ll be able to jump into fast, funny, and competitive multiplayer games that bring the couch back to life.

Among the first wave:

  • LEGO Party! – Compete in minigames and themed challenge zones in a colorful, chaotic LEGO showdown.
  • Boggle Party – Race against the clock to find the biggest words in a letter scramble. Solo or up to 8 players.
  • Pictionary: Game Night – Draw fast, guess faster. A party-ready twist on Mattel’s classic sketch-and-shout game.
  • Tetris Time Warp – Drop blocks across decades, from the 1984 original to the Game Boy era.
  • Party Crashers: Fool Your Friends – One player has no idea what’s going on. Can the others spot the faker?

To play, open the Games tab on your Netflix TV app, choose a title, and use your phone as the controller. There are no extra downloads, no additional devices, and no additional subscriptions. Just the trusted streamer rolling out both classic and new titles over time.

While Netflix has offered mobile games for a while, this is its first big push into party gaming right on the TV. And it’s timed to land just in time for family gatherings, group hangouts, and holiday binge weekends. More titles are expected soon.

Want to try it out? Just fire up Netflix on your TV and look for the new Games section.
