As the MLB season heats up, local fans of the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles have a new way to stream their favorite teams without subscribing to an expensive cable or satellite package.
The Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN), the teams’ regional sports network (RSN), has launched its direct-to-consumer streaming app MASN+. Subscribers get access to regular season games, content on MASN and MASN2, and every Orioles and Nationals game without any blackout restrictions. Plus, the subscription includes Classics and Xtras from each franchise and unprecedented 24/7 access to other MASN programming.
“Our goal is to connect all fans to the excitement of Orioles and Nationals baseball,” said MASN’s Executive Vice President and General Manager Greg Baden in a statement. “MASN+ allows O’s and Nats fans throughout the Mid-Atlantic who have elected to cut the cord to view their favorite team’s games and all that MASN has to offer.”
The MASN app is available across a wide range of devices, including iOS, Android mobile devices, Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV. MASN+ is available in two subscriptions: $19.99 per month or $89.99 for the remainder of the season.
Since 2005, MASN has been the RSN home of both teams. The network is co-owned by both teams, with the Nats having a 23% interest. However, it was reported that the Nationals will be searching for a new RSN in 2026 after settling a dispute over media rights with the O’s and MASN.
MASN provides coverage to millions of homes in a seven-state region, including Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and parts of West Virginia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. With the launch of MASN+, Nats and O’s fans can finally watch both teams live across multiple devices for the rest of the season without spending a fortune.
