Start TV is bringing everyone’s favorite “whodunit” show to its lineup this July. Murder, She Wrote is slated to join a 4th of July marathon celebrating heroines. The fan-favorite television series is one of several additions to Start TV’s lineup featuring empowering leading ladies.
Murder, She Wrote was Angela Lansbury’s most well-known role. Her portrayal of Jessica Fletcher, the astute mystery writer and “amateur sleuth” of Cabot Cove, earned her four Golden Globe Awards in addition to six nominations, as well as 12 Emmy Awards nominations. Murder, She Wrote won two out of six nominations for a Golden Globe Award for Outstanding Drama Series. The series also received three Emmy Award nominations, also for Outstanding Drama Series.
Tune in on Sunday, July 2nd at 12:00 p.m. ET as Start TV kicks off the 4th of July with a women-centric marathon spanning 69 hours, 65 episodes, and two made-for-TV movies. The marathon concludes at 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5th.
Also on July 5th, all 12 seasons, totaling 264 episodes, of Murder, She Wrote will start airing daily at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 4:00 p.m. ET on Start TV. Accompanying the series will be Rizzoli & Isles at 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. ET, The Closer at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. ET, Major Crimes at 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. ET, and In Plain Sight at 11:00 p.m. ET.
