This latest content drop is part of the previously announced partnership between Sesame Workshop and YouTube , which has already brought massive reach and engagement for the brand.
A Streaming Playground for a New Generation
Viewers can now dive into themed playlists built around educational topics like ABCs, STEM, imagination, and friendship, all hosted on platforms already used by millions of kids and families every day.
The collection includes vintage gems featuring classic characters like Kermit the Frog, Big Bird, Bert, and Ernie, offering nostalgic throwbacks for longtime fans while introducing new audiences to the show’s original style and values. The move also adds more options for families who rely on streaming instead of cable to access educational programming.
This update follows Sesame Street‘s broader expansion into streaming. In September, Sesame Workshop announced its deal with Netflix to become the exclusive home for all new seasons. Season 56 premiered on November 10, 2025, on both Netflix and PBS Kids, following HBO’s exit from the franchise after a 10-year partnership. At the same time, PBS remains a vital partner, airing select episodes and maintaining access to a wide digital library.
