Do you use your Max subscription to watch live sports on TNT, TBS, and TruTV? Now, you will be able to use a DVR to replay key moments of the game when you want.

This new DVR feature is currently available on the website, through the Android mobile app, and on Chromecast. There is no word on if or when it will be coming to more devices in the future.

This DVR is currently apart of the free B/R Sports add-on. For now, this free add-on gives access to TNT, TBVS, and TruTV sporting events. At some point Warner Bros. Discovery says this will become a paid add-on.

This joins a growing list of new features that Max has been rolling out over the last few months. Here are all the new features Max added this year:

IMPROVEMENTS TO LIVE CAPABILITIES

  • Live Events in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos (U.S.): Ahead of the NBA All-Star Weekend on February 13, Max became the first streaming service to offer live sports in Dolby Vision, putting customers in the center of the action with stunning visuals that come alive with lifelike colors, sharp contrast and rich detail. This feature is currently available to all subscribers with supported devices via the Bleacher Report Sports Add-On.
  • Replays for Live (Global): The Max livestream capabilities now offers replays for select events within 15 minutes of the live event’s conclusion.
  • Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) on CNN Max (U.S.): Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) gives Max the ability to insert Digital Ads in the place of linear ad breaks in real time in our CNN Max live programming. This enables us to target our audiences more effectively, allowing us to deliver a better overall ad experience for users and increased flexibility and opportunities to connect with our users for our partners.
  • In-App Sports Schedule (U.S.): Launched ahead of March Madness, Max users can now access a dedicated schedule for all live sports events in the US within the app, with filters to narrow down the events they are looking for, and the ability to add to “My List” directly from the schedule.Photo attached for this update
  • March Madness Digital Assistant (U.S.): March Madness schedules are added to the sports schedule within our digital assistant. These were kept up to date throughout the tournament, so customers were able to check on what and when the matchups are, and if they were available to watch on Max.
  • Live Event DVR on Chromecast (Global): Max users watching live events will now have control over the scrubbing bar to rewatch any major moments and relive the action while streaming on web and Android mobile devices via Chromecast.
