The Elite 8 is over and March Madness continues for four teams as the women’s tournament heads into the Final Four. American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas will host the remaining teams as they duel it out for a chance at a national title.

The first game on Friday will feature No. 1 Virginia Tech taking on No. 3 LSU in a clash between ACC and SEC titans. Virginia Tech is coming off a dominant victory over No. 3 Ohio State in the Elite Eight. Before this run, the Hokies hadn’t advanced past the Sweet 16 and they’re looking for their first Final Four win against the Lady Tigers. However, unlike their opponents, the Lady Tigers have been to the Final Four before, and look to advance to the title game for the first on their 6th try.

The defending champion No. 1 South Carolina Gamecocks take the national stage in the late game against No. 2 Iowa Buckeyes. Led by head coach Dawn Staley, the Gamecocks are making their fifth appearance in the Final Four and their third straight. They’re searching to become the first back-to-back national champions since UCONN’s dominating three-peat from 2014 to 2016. Their opponents are making their first Final Four in three decades with the Hawkeyes’ previous appearance in 1993.
