Do you love Turner and Warner Bros classic cartoons? Maybe the “Looney Tunes” or some Hanna-Barbera along with the MGM library of shows?
We have good news for you. Boomerang, the cable TV channel that airs classic cartoon shows, is launching a video on-demand subscription service. Yes soon you will be able to access a huge library of classic cartoons.
Now this will not be a live feed of Boomerang. This new service will give you on-demand access to the shows you want.
Packages start at $4.99 a month with a 7-day free trial or $39.99 for a year with a 30-day free trial.
“Boomerang is a beloved brand that has always had multi-generational appeal and some of the greatest animated shows ever created,” said Christina Miller, president of Cartoon Network, Boomerang, and Adult Swim. “Our ongoing partnership with Warner Bros around this new premium service continues our strategy of making sure our fans are engaged with fresh and fun content whenever and wherever they want it.”
You can find the Boomerang TV channel on Sling TV, DIRECTV NOW, and PlayStation Vue.
The ad-free SVOD service also will be the only place to watch new episodes of “Scooby-Doo,” “Looney Tunes,” and “Tom & Jerry.”
