Fans of the Los Angeles Angels will be happy to know that streaming the club is about to get a lot easier next season. The Angels and Diamond Sports Group announced a new multi-year market linear and digital rights deal that will keep the club’s games on FanDuel Sports Network West.

As part of the agreement, FDSNW will continue to air all in-market non-nationally exclusive televised games, a pre and postgame show, and original programming. The network will also distribute a direct-to-consumer streaming service for fans who live in the team’s market.

David Preschlack, CEO of Diamond, stated: “The Angels are a valued partner, and we are thrilled to extend and deepen our relationship. We look forward to expanding our reach by delivering games to fans on a DTC basis to provide flexibility to fans. With a strong platform supported by our partnership agreements, we look forward to providing high-quality local sports broadcasts to passionate Angels fans.”

Pricing for the upcoming streaming service will be announced ahead of the 2025 MLB season. Access to the FanDuel Sports Network app will be available via DTC subscription or by using pay TV credentials. Packages and plans will be announced at a later date as well.

The announcement comes after Diamond emerged from bankruptcy when a court approved its reorganization plans. As part of that plan, FanDuel Sports Network was able to keep the rights to 27 pro sports teams, including six MLB teams. The Angels join the Atlanta Braves, Miami Marlins, St. Louis Cardinals, Tampa Bay Rays, and Detroit Tigers as clubs that can be found across the FanDuel Sports Network.

Arte Moreno, Angels Owner, stated: “One of our top priorities when we began discussing the future of Angels broadcast was to provide our fans with a quality viewing experience while offering them new dynamic avenues to access Angels Baseball. We are proud that this new agreement with Diamond and FanDuel Sports Network allows our Club to reach more fans than ever before.”

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed. FanDuel Sports Network West is a joint venture part-owned by entities affiliated with Angels.
