Today, Allen Media Group and LG Electronics announced a deal that will see 223 free local news channels to LG’s free streaming service LG Channels.
With this partnership, LG Channel users will now be able to find local news and weather on channel 157. Based on their location, this channel will show a 24/7 news feed powered by the Local Now newsroom. This contains local news content from your local ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC, depending on where you live. You will also find original stories and other news scattered throughout the feed.

LG Channels is avialbie for free on LG Smart TVs built in 2016 till today. It is also avialbie on iOS and Android. LG describes the channel as “LG Channels offers a wide selection of premium live and on-demand programming, including movies, TV shows, news, sports, children’s programs and more. “
