Today LG Electronics announced a new and improved LG Channels service called LG Channels 3.0. This free live TV streaming service along with on-demand content, has been thoroughly rebuilt to be better than ever.
This new service will offer a new user interface, the ability to watch free live TV channels from inside the app, and improved on-demand. LG says LG CHannels 3.0 is rolling out in South Korea now and will come to other markets, including the United States in October 2023.
“The Home page features a large, highly visible rotating carousel at the top of the screen to provide easy access to featured channels, curated collections and premium On Demand content. From the Live page, they can now play live broadcast channels directly from within the LG Channels app. Additionally, the new channel guide covers only half of the screen, allowing users to see what’s on and choose what to watch next while continuing to watch their current viewing choice.” LG Said in a statement sent to Cord Cutters News.
LG CHannels is currently available in 27 countries and offers more than 300 live channels. LG also says you can enjoy Redbox movies, 24/7 breaking news from CBSN, live sports, and more. LG Channels is available on iOS, Android, and LG Smart TVs models 2016 to the current models. You can also watch LG Channels free online at the LG Channels website HERE.
