ION TV will launch the first season of Bull on January 26.

The first season debuts with the first episode at 7:00 p.m. ET, airing after a Hawaii Five-o marathon. “The Necklace” introduces audiences to Dr. Jason Bull, renowned psychologist and expert jury consultant, who’s hired to help defend the son of a millionaire accused of murdering his father’s drug-dealing teenage mistress. The series will run in its entirety on Friday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. ET.

Actor Michael Weatherly took to X, formerly Twitter, to share the news and a YouTube trailer of the series’ ION TV debut.

According to the schedule on ION TV, fans can catch the first two episodes, then jump to the fourth through seventh before circling back to watch episode three at 1:00 a.m. ET at the end of the mini-marathon before Bones starts. Stick around for Sunday, January 28, to catch Weatherly in his most well-known role as very special agent Tony DiNozzo on NCIS.

Bull is a legal drama starring Weatherly that ran for six seasons from 2016 to 2022 on CBS. The series concluded when Weatherly, who plays the titular character, left the show. Fans wondered if he would reprise his role as Dinozzo on NCIS, which Weatherly hinted (jokingly) on X in 2021. While the character still boasts of his days working with Leroy Jethro Gibbs, the actor has since turned his attention to his budding music career.

The series follows the inner workings of the Trial Analysis Corporation, a jury consulting firm run by Dr. Jason Bull. The team helps lawyers select the right jurors for their clients while formulating a legal argument to win them over. The series was inspired by Dr. Phil McGraw’s early career before delving into daytime pop psychology, who also serves as an executive producer for Bull along with Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank, and Steven Spielberg.

Filling out the cast is Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Christopher Jackson, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Annabelle Attanasio, MacKenzie Meehan, and Yara Martinez.

ION TV is available through Freevee, Friendly, Fubo, Google TV, Plex, Pluto TV, Samsung TV Plus, The Roku Channel, Tubi, VIZIO Watch Free+, Xumo Play, and YouTube TV. Visit ION TV to find where to watch in your area.
