It’s been almost three years since I sold Cord Cutters News. Now I am very excited to announce that I am back and I am extremely excited to get Cord Cutters News back to its roots of news coverage, deal finding, and helping you save money on your TV bill.

Some of you may not know who I am. I am the original founder of Cord Cutters News. I left the site back in 2020 and am very excited to be back again running Cord Cutters News.

My goal is to make Cord Cutters News the best site for news, deals, and how-to’s about cord cutting. I also hope to make this a great site to help you save money on a wide range of other topics like home internet, phone, wireless, and more. Cutting the cord doesn’t need to stop at saving money on TV we want to help you save money however we can.

To celebrate we have a massive giveaway going on right now. You could win a Roku Ultra 2022, a $100 Netflix gift card, and a $100 in Hulu gift cards CLICK HERE to enter the giveaway.

Important Note:

Because we are moving the hosting of the site, news coverage likely won’t restart until Tomorrow, January 11th. If we run into issues, we may move the news relaunch back. Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter for updates.

I need your help!

Step by step I will build this site to be what you want. To do that I need your help. Could you help spread the word that I am back? Do you have friends that you know stopped visiting? Maybe unfollowed our social media or newsletters? Please let them know I am back and that CCN is back!

Please don’t spam other sites, but if you see someone post about CCN let them know I’m back running the site.

Do you have any tips? Some of our best sources on what is happening in the world of cord cutting has always been you, the readers. Please message us here or on social media to let us know of any news tips you may have found.

Lastly, please follow all our social media channels, including the new ones from The Breakdown on YouTube.

Please share our stories with your friends on Twitter and Facebook to help us grow and expand.

Some changes to Cord Cutters News you should expect:

Website

Right now, I am busy behind the scenes making changes that I think will help make this site even better. Some of the things I am working on right now include bringing back the old website like it was in early 2020 to be focused on news first. Look for this change to happen over the next week or so. During that time, you may experience some website issues or short downtimes as we move to new hosting and bring back the old look and features.

YouTube Channel

I am also working on bringing back the Cord Cutting Today daily YouTube videos on our YouTube channel. Currently, I plan to post the CCT Monday through Friday. If you don’t remember my old CCT videos, you should expect a short 10 to 15 minute show breaking down the biggest cord cutting stories that happened in the past 24 hours and give you my thoughts on them. I also plan to bring back a wide range of other videos to include reviews, tips, and more back to the YouTube channel.

Additionally, I plan to bring back the weekly Q&As on YouTube. Look for more to come on when we will relaunch the weekly Q&A.

If you are not subscribed to our YouTube channel, please make sure to check it out at YouTube.com/CordCuttersNews

Newsletters

I will also be bringing back the daily and weekly newsletters. If you are already subscribed don’t worry, we will be relaunching them in the days to come. If you would like to join that list for our daily or weekly newsletter you can do so by going HERE. Look for these newsletters to relaunch in the next week or so.

Other Changes?

I am working on a long list of things to bring back along with other improvements. Things like the comment section are on my list to possibly come back after we get everything fully back up and running. I would love to hear what changes you would like to see made. If you have a suggestion, please use the contact us page or post over on our Facebook Group, Twitter, or Facebook page.

A little update on what I have been doing.

After I sold Cord Cutters News, I took the opportunity to move back to Michigan from Texas to be close to my family and my wife’s family. My daughter recently turned 10 and I now have a 17 month old son. My wife just recently retired from the Army after over 20 years of service.

For work, I have been doing tech reviews on “The Breakdown with Luke” YouTube channel, a channel that is now a partner of Cord Cutters News and will continue to post non cord cutting reviews on a wide range of products.

You can also follow me on Twitter and join my Facebook deals group here.

So, what next?

My goal is to get CCN back up and running bigger and better than ever. To do that will take some time. My goal is to build up activity, make all the changes I listed above and as revenue, etc returns bring on more staff to make CCN better than ever. Ultimately, I would love to get back into an office with a large review lab and a full staff to create the content you want and expect from CCN.

All of these changes won’t happen overnight including waiting until after we have moved hosting to restart news coverage but we are busy here working to make this happen.

Once again hopefully we can help you save money but still watching the shows you enjoy.
