At its recent Accelerate seller conference, Amazon unveiled a significant expansion of its third-party logistics (3PL) service, Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF), now extending support to merchants on SHEIN, Shopify, and Walmart. This move builds on the service’s established success in streamlining fulfillment for sellers on platforms like eBay, Etsy, Temu, and TikTok Shop. By integrating with these major retail channels, Amazon aims to bolster its position as a logistics powerhouse, enabling merchants to simplify operations and scale their businesses across diverse online marketplaces.

Amazon MCF allows merchants to leverage a single inventory pool shared with Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA). This unified approach eliminates the need for separate fulfillment systems, reducing both costs and complexity for businesses. Whether merchants are selling on Amazon.com, their own websites, or other online retailers, MCF provides a seamless solution to manage inventory and fulfill orders efficiently. The expansion to SHEIN, Shopify, and Walmart reflects Amazon’s broader strategy to empower merchants of all sizes to grow their reach and sales across multiple channels, including social media platforms and emerging marketplaces.

For Walmart Marketplace, the integration of Amazon MCF marks a significant enhancement for merchants. Sellers can now fulfill Walmart orders directly through Amazon’s logistics network. To begin, merchants can manually create order requests via Amazon Seller Central or utilize integration partners such as WebBee, Pipe17, Rithum, Goflow, or Lingxing. These partners enable automated order routing to Amazon MCF, ensuring real-time inventory synchronization and faster processing times. Orders fulfilled through this system come with full tracking, are delivered in unbranded packaging, and offer merchants the flexibility to select from various shipping carriers. This setup allows Walmart Marketplace sellers to provide their customers with fast, reliable, and transparent delivery experiences, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

The expansion of Amazon MCF underscores the company’s commitment to simplifying logistics for merchants while enabling them to compete in an increasingly crowded e-commerce landscape. By offering a scalable, cost-effective fulfillment solution, Amazon empowers businesses to focus on growth rather than operational hurdles. The inclusion of high-growth platforms like SHEIN and Shopify, alongside Walmart, positions Amazon MCF as a versatile tool for merchants aiming to expand their presence across multiple sales channels. As e-commerce continues to evolve, Amazon’s logistics innovations are set to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online retail, giving merchants the tools they need to thrive in a competitive market.
