Disney’s Hulu With Live TV is going to get more expensive soon.

Starting October 12, Hulu with Live TV will cost $7 more a month. For the service with ads, that means $76.99 a month. The no-ad version will cost $89.99 a month.

The price hikes comes after Disney posted fiscal third-quarter results which saw continued losses for its streaming business. CEO Bob Iger has vowed to bring the business to profitability by the end of fiscal 2024.

But the price hike also followed a similar move by Google’s YouTube TV, which raised prices in March. It’s rates rose by 12% to $72.99, prompting outcry from customers.

Google cited increased content costs for the price increase, which likely fueled Disney’s own price increase.

While YouTube TV is just the live TV service, Hulu pairs with live TV with a library of on-demand shows and movies, hence the slight premium over YouTube TV.
