Hulu Will Get Exclusive Streaming Rights to Parasite

Parasite, the 2020 Oscar winner for Picture of the Year, will have an exclusive streaming home at Hulu. According to a report from Deadline, Hulu made a deal with Neon to bring the film to the streaming platform beginning Wednesday, April 8.

Not only did Bong Joon Ho’s film bring home four Oscars, it was the first foreign language film to win the title of best picture. Parasite also won the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film, the SAG Award for Best Ensemble Cast, and the top prize at Cannes.

Parasite tells the story of a poor family, the Kims, who create a scheme to become the servants of a wealthy family, the Parks. Though the family is unqualified for their jobs, the con their way into the roles, but are soon threatened to be exposed in their lie. The film was written by Bong Joon Ho and Han Jin Won, and directed by Bong Joon Ho.
