Want your locals streamed? Well, Hulu is likely the service for you. Today Hulu announced that they now have 615 live locals across the United States. This makes Hulu the service with the most locals by a wide margin far ahead of PlayStation Vue, YouTube TV, and DIRECTV NOW.

Here are a few highlights from Hulu’s announcement today:

  • 615 total local affiliates on live service
  • 52% of TV households have live service in all 4 of the following affiliates: ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC
  • Total Affiliates
    • ABC: 131
    • CBS: 142
    • FOX: 176
    • NBC: 126
    • The CW: 8
    • Telemundo: 20
  • Total % of American Households Covered:
    • NBC: 79%
    • ABC: 78%
    • FOX: 95%
    • CBS: 80%
    • The CW: 14%

Hulu is likely far from done with adding more locals. Since launch, Hulu has made it clear that live locals are an important part of their strategy. Look for Hulu to continue to roll out more locals in the weeks and months to come.

The battle now seems to be for second place between YouTube TV and DIRECTV NOW. The question now is what service will be the next service to top 600 live locals.
