Hulu has been busy not only working on its live TV service but working to make its ads better.

This week it was announced that Tremor Video, a leader in digital ads, has partnered with Hulu to start supplying ads for Hulu. Currently Tremor Video with Hulu’s on demand service but ads for the new live TV service is according to Hulu on the “road map”. the Tremor Video already has a background of selling ads for live TV streaming services including Sling TV.

This partnership with Tremor Video will allow Hulu to sell more targeted ads for its viewers, allowing Hulu to show subscribers ads that are relevant to them rather than just selling ads against shows. These more targeted ads bring in higher profit for services such as Hulu because they allow companies to sell ads that will be more relevant to their viewers.

“After a thorough marketplace review, we selected Tremor Video to help Hulu bring digital automation across screens. Tremor Video not only understood our Advanced TV vision, but customized their supply-side technology to meet our specific marketplace requirements,” Doug Fleming, head of advanced TV at Hulu, said in a statement. “Tremor Video is an important component of Hulu’s Advanced TV offering, providing advertisers with the choice to leverage more automation to deliver the ad experience viewers prefer.”

The hope is that this new partnership will help address one of the major complaints of Hulu—the repetitive ads. You likely won’t see any changes for some time though as Tremor Video will need to be implemented into the Hulu ad system. Though hopefully subscribers to its limited commercial plan will see new and better ads.

Correction: A early version said that Tremor Video will be selling ads for Hulu. That is not correct that will be working with Hulu on their ads.
