Hulu is down for many users across the country right now, and it looks like most of the reports are coming from Apple devices.
Update: Hulu says they have been able to “mitigate the interruption” and rebooting devices should get the app back to normal.
We've got you covered now! Our developers were able to put changes in place to mitigate the interruption. Please reboot your device to start streaming, and let us know if you run into any further trouble.

#HuluDown is trending on Twitter, with many users reporting that the app shut down in the middle of watching a show, and others saying they haven’t made it past the home screen.
Was in the middle of watching #TheShield on @hulu. Got the “are you still there?” And then, crash. #HuluDown

Down Detector, shows that issues with Hulu began around 4:50 AM ET on April 28 and reports are still coming in.
It looks like most users are getting the Error Playing Video message, saying “We encountered an error playing this video. Please try restarting the video or select something else to watch.” Restarting the video, rebooting the app, and even reinstalling the app haven’t seemed to be solutions yet.
We’ll be back with an update when Hulu addresses the outage or fixes the problem.
