The Hulu app has gained support for Apple SharePlay. This means users can utilize the co-viewing feature and watch content with friends over FaceTime calls on Apple devices.

Users can launch the feature by opening the Hulu app while on a FaceTime call and pressing the “Share” button, followed by the “SharePlay” option (make sure your Hulu app is updated to the latest version on your iPhone or iPad).

In addition to SharePlay capabilities, the new app update also allows users to flip between channels when streaming Live TV. Hulu subscribers using iOS devices can upgrade to the newest version of the app on an iPhone or iPad to try it out.

“In this release, we are helping spread the Hulu love by introducing SharePlay,” Hulu said. “With SharePlay, you can watch content from the Hulu streaming library in sync with friends and family over FaceTime. We also launched a feature allowing Live TV users to easily flip between channels during playback.”
