Yesterday at CES Cord Cutters News meet with the new head of Hulu’s product team Jim Denney. At the meeting, we got an early look at a new user interface that is coming to Hulu in the Spring of 2019.

This new user interface will bring a traditional Grid Guide to streaming players like Roku, Fire TV, and Apple TV. This grid guide will let you go 14 days into the future to pick a show you want to record or just see what is coming out in the future.

Hulu is also updating how it displays content to you. Right now as you scroll around the home page it only shows one TV show or movie at a time. Now Hulu this newly updated app will add the ability to see a grid of shows all on the screen at once. Now instead of seeing one show, you will see a handful of shows at a time as you scroll through the guide.

Hulu seems to be moving to address the concerns of subscribers who struggle to find what they want. This new update seems to be all about making it easier to find what you want when you want.

The update will start to roll out in the Spring with the goal of trying to have a constant user interface across Hulu’s line of supported devices.
